VINTAGE CHAIR RESTORATION
2 Vintage chairs fully restored the frames have been stripped back to bare timber and sanded with 240 grit paper, we then coat the frames with sanding sealer.
When dry the next day the sealer is sanded using a fine 400 grit paper, we can then wipe on the scandanavian oil and rub into the frames surface and leave a day to dry.
The final sanding is with a steel wool 00 fine and then we can apply a final coat of oil, the finish is clear showing the natural timber grain.

GENOA CHAIR RESTORED AND FINISHED WITH LEATHER UPHOLSTERY
Recent Project...Re-upholstered 2 Genoa chairs aged 1930 with matching Footstools; the chairs have been fully restored back to original condition.
The springs are now in great condition and the frames being hardwood which will last forever.
We recovered them in a premium natural grain leather
from the Shann Group called Capri Chocolate some information about this leather..
Capri is a specialty leather with its waxy, full grain, full aniline appearance together with a crackle (aged look).

RECOVER YOUR DINING CHAIR IN A COMMERCIAL VINYL
Recent project...recover 8 dining chairs in a commercial quality vinyl, the old chairs had a poor non commercial vinyl when they were purchase from new, the vinyl dad cracked in different areas and started to peel and flake off, which makes a mess on the floor, not to mention it looks terrible.
The frames on the chairs were great they are strong and will last for many years, so why not recover them in a better vinyl one that withstand the sunlight and easy clean.
When we recover these types of chairs we can add to the seat foams if needed and re-web the seats and the backs.
the finished product looks and feels much better than new.
Other items like Barstools are frequently coming in for us to recover and restore them, if the frames are strong then it's a great option to spend the money on a recover, at least you then know that the chairs are going to last.

UPHOLSTERED WALL PANELS
Upholstered wall panels are becoming quite popular and no wonder they look fantastic, we can custom make your wall panels any size vertical or horizontal in any fabric you like.
We can pad them different thicknesses from 6mm to 25mm the panels are made to suit the bed size if you have a queen size bed we would make 4 panels at 390mm wide, the picture is of a Queen size bed, we also upholster the bed base in the same matching fabric which gives the complete tailored look.
First Edition in Miami 4220 on the Gold Coast QLD is very experienced in custom making wall panels we have 3 ways of fitting the panels to the wall it just depends on the surface and what the wall is constructed of.
Because we custom build these panels the finished look is completely up to you we can install full wall or part wall, rectangles or squares, in fact any shape you want.
These feature wall panels are a nice way to finish the room instead of having a bed head and the fabric choose are endless, we have made them out of vinyl, leather and fabric the finished product gives you a warm comfy finish to the room.
BED HEADS MANUFACTURED ALL SIZES
Upholstered bed heads in any shape or size and of course we can upholster them in any fabric, most of the headboards are made out of 9mm custom wood with a built up edge, we supply a split batten on the back for easy installation to the wall.
The finished product can have piping around the edge, it could have buttons or stitched lines any shape you like, for pricing just supply a quick sketch of what you like and the bed size to match and we can certainly custom make it.
We have made bedheads for display units all sizes and shapes, they really finish the bed room nicely and if the bed base is also upholstered in the matching fabric you can rest assured it will complete the project.
