This is my favourite sofa the Hastings it measures 2400 mm long and 940 mm front to back it is without doubt the best design i have made, interesting from every angle comfortable to sit on and very inviting to lay down on, the frame is made from plywood and timber and the under frame is Tasmanian oak.

The base is sprung with no-sag arched springs to stand the test of time, far superior to elastic webbing most manufacturers use these days, the seat cushions are a foam core wrapped in polyester and the backs are the same but a little softer
The back height is what i call mid high around 440 mm above the seat just high enough to be comfy.

The Hastings sofa has become our most popular design, we build the sofa so that the arms screw off which makes it very easy to fit in lifts, in fact the seats and backs are removable and the under frame is attached last.
