AMatching pair of Vintage chairs fully restored the frames have been stripped back to bare timber and sanded with 240 grit paper, we then coat the frames with sanding sealer.
When dry the next day the sealer is sanded using a fine 400 grit paper, we can then wipe on the scandanavian oil or Dnaish oil and rub into the frames surface and leave a day to dry.
The final sanding is with a steel wool 00 fine and then we can apply a final coat of oil, the finish is clear showing the natural timber grain.
