Recent Project...Re-upholstered 2 Genoa chairs aged 1930 with matching Footstools, the chairs have been fully restored back to original condition. The springs all now in great condition the frames are a hardwood which will last forever. We recovered them in a premium natural grain leather from the Shann Group called Capri Chocolate some information about this leather.. Capri is a specialty leather with its waxy, full grain, full aniline appearance together with a crackle (aged look). Technical Details … Dyeing: Aniline drum-dyed through Finish: Wax and Oils crackle effect Class: Full Grain Light fastness: 3 on blue scale Colour fastness: 250/4 Dry Waxy Aniline with crackle effect. The finish on the chairs is incredible our client was over the moon with the result.
